Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Lead Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). The candidate will be responsible for leading SAP FICO implementation, rollout, support, and enhancement activities while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP FI/CO configuration, business process understanding, integration, issue resolution, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP FICO implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Taxation
- Accounts Closing

- Configure and support SAP CO, including:

- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes and resolve related SAP issues.
- Work on integration of FICO with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for developments and enhancements.
- Lead requirement gathering, solution design, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Perform root-cause analysis for critical production issues and provide permanent solutions.
- Coordinate with business users,



functional teams, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Review functional deliverables and provide guidance to junior consultants.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and SAP best practices.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and user training materials.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of relevant experience in SAP FICO.
- Solid hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO configuration.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance and accounting processes.
- Experience in at least one SAP implementation / rollout / upgrade / support project.
- Good knowledge of integration between FI/CO and MM, SD, PP.
- Experience in financial accounting, controlling, taxation, and period-end closing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and lead functional discussions.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with ABAP teams.
- Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
- Experience with SAP New GL / Document Splitting.
- Knowledge of Parallel Ledgers / Parallel Accounting.
- Exposure to SAP Asset Accounting in S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP Fiori from an FICO functional perspective.
- SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in leading a team or functional workstream.
