Key Responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end inpatient (IP) billing activities from admission to final settlement
- Verify and ensure accurate posting of hospital charges, including room, procedures, pharmacy, diagnostics, and other services
- Monitor patient accounts and ensure charges are updated accurately and on time
- Prepare and verify interim and final bills for IP patients
- Coordinate with Nursing, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, Admissions, Insurance/TPA, and other departments for billing inputs
- Verify package inclusions, exclusions, discounts, concessions, and applicable charges
- Coordinate with Insurance/TPA teams for approvals, queries, and billing settlements




- Monitor pending payments and outstanding amounts and coordinate for timely clearance
- Handle billing discrepancies, patient queries, and corrections in coordination with the concerned departments
- Ensure timely and accurate discharge billing and financial clearance
- Maintain proper billing records and supporting documentation
- Handle high-value and complex billing cases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Prepare daily/monthly MIS reports related to IP billing, collections, outstanding amounts, and discharge settlements
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies, SOPs, NABH standards, and statutory requirements
