Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design and deliver scalable, high-performance, and upgrade-protected solutions as part of enterprise-wide ServiceNow consolidation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Core Platform Development

Develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript (server & client-side)

Work on Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts

Build scoped applications (App Engine)

Design data models, CMDB structures, and relationships

Develop UI using UI Builder, Workspaces, Service Portal, Widgets

Automation & Workflow

Implement workflows using Flow Designer & IntegrationHub

Configure approvals, SLAs, notifications, orchestration

Follow best practices with configuration over customization

Integrations & Data





Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, Webhooks

Work with MID Server basics

Handle Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Sources

Implement error handling and retry logic

Module Expertise

ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Request

CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping (ITOM)

Customer Service Management (CSM)

Quality & Performance

Optimize performance (query tuning, indexing, async processing)

Perform testing using ATF

Ensure upgrade-ready solutions leveraging OOB capabilities

Follow DevOps practices (CI/CD, update sets, version control)

Security & Governance

Implement ACLs, roles, least privilege access

Follow secure coding and compliance standards

Senior-Level Expectations

Lead design discussions and mentor junior developers

Contribute to estimation, planning, and delivery

Write clear user stories & acceptance criteria

Manage stakeholders and technical trade-offs effectively

Preferred Certifications

ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator)

Certifications in ITSM / ITOM / CSM
