Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in C#/.NET, JavaScript, Playwright, WebdriverIO, REST API testing, and Azure DevOps. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright and/or WebdriverIO.
- Develop automated test scripts using C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Create and execute REST API automation and integration tests.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application defects and automation failures.
- Integrate automated test suites with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and defect management.
- Maintain reusable automation components, test data, and frameworks.
- Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on quality and automation coverage.
- Contribute to improving automation coverage, execution time, and overall QA processes.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong experience in C# / .NET.
- Good hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong experience in Playwright automation.




- Experience with WebdriverIO.
- Hands-on experience in REST API testing/automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Test execution
- Build/release pipelines
- Defect tracking

- Strong understanding of automation framework design and development.
- Positive knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/Azure Repos.
- Experience with SQL/database validation.
- Experience in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Docker/containerized test execution.
- Experience with performance or API load testing.
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on in automation, rather than purely a manual QA professional. The candidate should be comfortable developing automation scripts/frameworks, debugging failures, working with REST APIs, and integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines.
