Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP UI5 / Fiori Consultant with strong expertise in developing and extending SAP Fiori applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in building custom Fiori applications, extending standard SAP applications through Fiori Adaptation Projects, and integrating frontend applications with backend services. The role requires strong knowledge of RAP, CAP with Node.js, OData, and CDS, along with the ability to analyze and debug standard SAP applications and identify appropriate extension points while following SAP Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications from scratch based on business requirements.
- Extend and enhance standard SAP Fiori applications using Fiori Adaptation Projects.
- Implement complex UI requirements including multi-level UI elements, complex tables, custom validations, and other advanced UI components.
- Integrate frontend UI5/Fiori applications with backend business logic and services.
- Develop and enhance applications using SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
- Work with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), particularly with Node.js.
- Develop, consume, and extend OData services.
- Work with CDS (Core Data Services), including standard CDS usage, extensions, and development of custom CDS objects.




- Analyze and debug standard SAP applications to understand application behavior and identify suitable extension points.
- Evaluate extension approaches with focus on usability, maintainability, performance, and Clean Core principles.
- Troubleshoot application issues across frontend and backend layers.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable SAP solutions.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.
- Experience in developing custom Fiori applications.
- Strong experience with Fiori Adaptation Projects and extending standard applications.
- Hands-on experience with SAP RAP, with at least one project implementation.
- Good knowledge of SAP CAP with Node.js.
- Strong understanding of OData services.
- Strong knowledge of CDS / Core Data Services.
- Experience working with standard, extended, and custom SAP objects.
- Strong debugging and application analysis skills.
- Good understanding of SAP Clean Core principles.
- Ability to identify appropriate extension points in standard SAP applications.

Good to Have

- Basic functional understanding of Contracts.
- Basic understanding of RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes.
- Understanding of pricing structures.
