Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Implement unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement current features.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help to improve our development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest android technologies and trends.
- Participate in the CI/CD process, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in developing Android apps with a history of launching successful projects
- Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns,



object-oriented-programming (OOP), frameworks and technologies
- Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence the broader engineering team and understand their points of view
- Kotlin and Java programming skills
- Understanding of the Android SDK and Performance monitoring tools
- Experience developing and delivering using Agile methodologies
- Partner with product, design, QA and fellow engineers to determine the best way to meet business requirements
- Review code for others on the team and provide thoughtful feedback
- Proactively monitor and improve the technical performance of the app
- Participate in technical discussions with fellow engineers Knowledge in jetpack compose is plus
