About the Role

Swastik is looking for an experienced Assistant Purchase Manager to manage the procurement. The candidate will be responsible for direct sourcing, supplier development, negotiations, cost control, and timely material availability. Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Source spices directly from farmers, FPOs, manufacturers, and authorized suppliers .
- Develop robust direct procurement channels and minimize broker/intermediary involvement.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and FPOs.
- Monitor market prices, commodity availability, quality, and delivery.
- Coordinate with Finance, Stores, Production, and other departments.
- Manage POs, quotations, invoices, and purchase documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, quantity, pricing,



and delivery issues.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and procurement efficiency . Requirements
- 8u201310 years of relevant Purchase/Procurement experience.
- Experience in FMCG, spices, agriculture, commodities, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Strong experience in direct farmer/FPO procurement .
- Good understanding of FPOs and local/regional supplier markets.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems .
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
