Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain productive ABAP programs, including classic and object-oriented ABAP, covering Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms. • Utilize SAP HANA features for optimized coding and performance (including use of CDS views and AMDP methods).

• Create Core Data Services (CDS) views and develop OData services (including full CRUD operations and attachment handling) for consumption by SAP Fiori/UI5 and third-party applications.

• Design and expose OData services for SAP Fiori applications. Collaborate with Fiori/UI5 developers to deliver seamless and business-driven user experience. • Has working experience in AMDP, table functions, RAP

• Apply object-oriented programming principles to develop scalable and maintainable application components.

• Implement SAP enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs,



and Enhancement Framework.

• Develop and maintain BAPIs and other integration points with SAP/non-SAP systems, supporting smooth data exchange.

• Develop REST apis for SAP/non-SAP systems for data exchange and file interfaces.

• Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for performance and reliability, leveraging tools and SAP best practices.

• Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and conduct peer code reviews.

• Provide ongoing supportinvestigate and resolve production issues, participate in root cause analysis.

• Work closely with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure high system performance.
