About the role

Cybosocks builds coding tools that teach children how to program. We are looking for a Full Stack Development Intern to work directly with the founder on two live products: a block-based code editor for kids and the Cybosocks Android application.

This is a hands-on role. You will ship code that real children use, not internal demos or training exercises. You will also be expected to work fluently with AI coding assistants.

Key responsibilities

1. Build and enhance features in our block-based code editor using React.js
2. Develop and enhance features in the Cybosocks Android app
3. Test features across browsers and Android devices before release.

Required skills

- Working knowledge of React.js components, hooks, props/state, and conditional rendering.
- Solid Java fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Working proficiency in HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Ability to work independently,



ask valuable questions, and communicate progress clearly.

Good to have

- Familiarity with Android development (Android Studio, activities/fragments, layouts).
- Knowledge of PHP
- A GitHub profile or portfolio of personal projects.

Duration and commitment

- 2-3 months, with a defined start date and scope.
- The timeline may be extended by mutual agreement if a project needs it, so candidates should be flexible about a longer engagement.
