About the Role

Edify Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English Teacher (Subject Matter Expert) to deliver high-quality English instruction, enhance curriculum standards, and drive academic excellence for middle and secondary grade students.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature for secondary grades as per CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum.
- Design engaging lesson plans aligned with academic objectives and learning outcomes.
- Develop study materials, worksheets, question papers, and assessments.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support curriculum planning and academic improvement.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies and digital tools into classroom instruction.




- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and participate in training sessions.
- Support school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to English.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in English or related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- 3-6 years of teaching experience in secondary grades.
- Strong command of English language, grammar, and literature.
- Experience in CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
