Overview

An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently while complying with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building plans
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices (e.g., multimeters)
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Upgrade outdated electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program (typically 3-5 years)
- Relevant certifications or licenses (varies by location)
- Previous experience in electrical work preferred

Work Environment
- May work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Often required to stand, climb ladders, or work in confined spaces
- May work evenings, weekends, or on-call for emergencies

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month

Experience:
- GCC: 2 years (preferred)
