The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The therapist works with children and/or adults in a therapy center setting to improve communication skills and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments Diagnose speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions Work with children having speech delay, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and articulation disorders Treat adults with speech issues due to stroke, neurological conditions, or voice disorders Maintain accurate therapy records and progress reports Educate parents/caregivers on home therapy strategies Collaborate with occupational therapists,



psychologists, special educators, and doctors Use evidence-based therapy techniques and tools Participate in case discussions and team meetings Skills & Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills Patience, empathy, and child-friendly approach Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of speech assessment tools and therapy techniques Good documentation and reporting skills
