Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Controller-ship: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind-AS / IFRS / GAAP.
- Tax Management: Lead the strategy for both Direct and Indirect taxation. You will handle scrutiny cases, represent the company before tax authorities, and ensure 100% GST/Income Tax compliance.
- Audit Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for Statutory and Internal Auditors, ensuring all queries are resolved and audit reports are clean.
- Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Drive the annual budgeting process and provide monthly "Actual vs. Budget" reports with actionable commentary on variances.
- Team Mentorship: Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants and CA articles, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.
- Process Automation: Identify bottlenecks in the current accounting workflow and implement tech-driven solutions (ERP enhancements) to improve efficiency.





Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Certification: Must be a member of the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).
- Experience: 3 years of post-qualification experience in a mid-to-large size firm or a corporate finance role.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and expert-level MS Excel (macros and data modeling).
- Compliance: Deep understanding of the Companies Act 2013 and various Tax Statutes.
- The "Detail" Hawk: You notice a 1% discrepancy in a balance sheet from a mile away.
- The Communicator: You can explain complex tax implications to non-finance stakeholders without using confusing jargon.
- The Problem Solver: You don’t just report a problem; you come to the table with three potential solutions.
