Job Title:Steel Engineer - Sourcing & Commercial

Experience: 2-7 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech - Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate steel grades, specifications, mill certificates, and quality documents.
- Identify and manage steel mills, suppliers, and processing partners.
- Support RFQs, quotations, pricing, negotiations, and sourcing activities.
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and QA teams.
- Support steel market analysis and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain technical and commercial documentation.

Requirements:
- 2-7 years of experience in steel manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, trading, or technical sales.
- Strong knowledge of steel grades and material specifications.




- Understanding of ASTM, EN, ISO, DIN, JIS, or API standards preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and analyze mill test certificates.
- Valuable negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office; ERP/procurement software is a plus.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
