Ecommerce Manager — Team Leadership | Amazon & Flipkart

We are hiring an experienced Ecommerce Manager to lead our ecommerce team and take ownership of marketplace performance across Amazon and Flipkart.

The core of this role is people leadership: setting targets, assigning transparent responsibilities, developing team members, reviewing performance, and ensuring work gets completed. You must also understand marketplace operations well enough to guide the team, solve problems, and step in when needed.

Lead the team and own results

• Translate business goals into monthly sales, profitability, advertising, catalogue, and stock-availability targets, with clear individual ownership.
• Run daily priorities and weekly performance reviews. Assign tasks, set deadlines, track completion, and resolve issues that delay work.
• Coach and train team members, give practical feedback, address performance gaps, and build accountability for results.
• Identify hiring and skill gaps, support interviews and onboarding,



and create SOPs and training plans.
• Coordinate the ecommerce team with production, warehouse, dispatch, creative, customer service, and finance teams.
• Present a concise weekly management report covering results against targets, team performance, key issues, and the next action plan.

Manage marketplace performance

• Lead Amazon and Flipkart sales plans, product launches, sale events, catalogue improvements, and conversion optimisation.
• Guide marketplace advertising strategy and review campaign budgets, keywords, bids, ACOS, and ROAS within approved budgets.
• Track product-level profitability after platform fees, advertising, discounts, shipping, and returns; recommend pricing and promotions within approved margins.
• Oversee inventory planning, replenishment, account health, listing issues, returns, and cancellations; coordinate timely resolution.
