Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day technical assistance to end users and ensure the smooth functioning of desktops, laptops, applications, peripherals, and basic network connectivity.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Windows troubleshooting, hardware/software support, MS Office, basic networking, ticket management, and onsite IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L1/L2 desktop and onsite technical support to end users.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and operating systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors, and other peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot MS Office 365, Outlook, Teams, browsers, antivirus, and business applications.
Troubleshoot basic LAN,



Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
Perform software installation, configuration, updates, patching, and routine system maintenance.
Assist users with password, account, and access-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.
Log, update, monitor, and close incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system.
Perform IMAC activities – Install, Move, Add, and Change as required.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and IT assets.
Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate L2/L3, Network, System, or Application teams.
Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for hardware repair, replacement, and warranty-related issues.
Follow defined SOPs, IT policies, security guidelines, and SLA requirements.
Maintain qualified communication with users and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
