About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, genuinely passionate video editor to join our content team full-time and help scale our video output. You'll work alongside Avinash, sharing ownership of two content lines — a personal-brand podcast (long-form to short-form) and Kitab's short-form "Gita Wisdom Bites" series — while building the AI-powered workflows that let us produce faster without losing quality.

What You'll Do

- Independently edit long-form podcast conversations into polished episodes
- Produce short-form "Gita Wisdom Bites" videos and other Kitab app/social content
- Coordinate closely with Marketing Heads and Content Creators to shape and execute video content strategy
- Design and build AI-assisted editing workflows to speed up and scale production
- Bring strong storytelling and storyboarding instincts to every edit — thinking in narrative arcs, not just cuts
- Maintain visual and tonal consistency across formats

What We're Looking For

- 1+ years of qualified video editing experience




- A genuine passion for video editing, with the drive to keep growing and sharpening your craft
- Strong storytelling and storyboarding skills
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or equivalent tools
- Comfort experimenting with AI tools to build faster editing workflows
- Able to work independently, coordinate across teams, and manage multiple projects/deadlines

Nice to Have

- Experience editing podcast or interview-style content
- Basic motion graphics or sound design skills
- Prior experience building or adapting AI-assisted production pipelines

KPIs

- Publish 15–20 short-form "Gita Wisdom Bites" videos per month
- Reach 50K+ combined impressions per month across published shorts
- Continuously raise production speed/output through AI-assisted workflows
- Compensation

₹30,000/month to start, scaling with experience, plus performance incentives up to 20%.
