About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor to help us create high-quality short-form content for Instagram and other digital platforms. You will work with raw talking-head footage and turn it into engaging, polished, and retention-focused videos. The role requires a good understanding of pacing, storytelling, captions, visual elements, and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

· Edit 10–15 short-form videos/reels per month from raw footage.

· Turn talking-head footage into engaging and polished content with strong pacing and retention.

· Add captions, B-roll, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and other relevant visual elements.

· Maintain consistency with SayaCare's visual and brand guidelines.

· Deliver assigned videos within agreed timelines.

· Review and improve videos based on feedback.

Skills & Competencies





· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

· Basic knowledge of After Effects is a plus.

· Good understanding of short-form content, pacing, hooks, and audience retention.

· Strong visual sense and attention to detail.

· Ability to understand raw footage and identify the best moments to highlight.

· Valuable understanding of captions, B-roll, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics.

· Good communication and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

· Consistent adherence to brand and editing guidelines.

· Timely delivery of assigned videos.

· Quality and consistency of edited content.

· Ability to incorporate feedback quickly and accurately.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, reliable, and open to feedback. You should be comfortable working independently, managing your time, and taking ownership of projects from raw footage to final delivery. A strong portfolio or previous short-form video work is preferred.
