We're hiring a Full-Time Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer to produce polished, professional video content across our ecosystem's brands — meditation and guided practice videos, documentary and science content, motion graphics, and brand social video. Generative AI is now a core part of how we produce work at Shyama Studios, and this role requires real, hands-on fluency with it — not just awareness.

Brand identity consistency is the job — not chasing trends, not personal creative voice. Every brand has its own tone and visual language, and your edit needs to reflect that, consistently, every time.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and produce high-quality video across multiple brand contexts — meditation content, documentary segments, social/brand video, motion graphics
- Design and animate motion graphics that enhance storytelling and visual impact
- Incorporate generative AI tools into your actual production workflow — not as a novelty, but as a genuine efficiency and creative tool
- Collaborate with the content team on concepts, storyboards, and creative direction
- Apply visual effects, color grading, and sound sync to elevate finished work
- Maintain strict brand consistency across every piece of content, regardless of which brand it's for
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with precision and meet deadlines reliably
- Integrate feedback quickly and iterate without losing quality

Qualifications

- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer,



with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
- Proficiency in motion graphics/animation software — After Effects, Cinema 4D, or equivalent
- Required: hands-on, demonstrable experience with generative AI production tools — e.g. Runway, Luma Dream Machine, Adobe Firefly, or comparable AI-assisted video/motion/image generation tools. This is not preferred — it is essential to this role.
- Robust understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and audio-video sync
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, multi-brand team structure
- Strong attention to detail and consistency under deadline pressure

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AI-assisted audio/sound design tools (Suno, Udio, AIVA, Elevenlabs, or similar)
- Color grading and correction expertise
- Familiarity with spiritual, meditative, scientific, or documentary content specifically
- Understanding of platform-specific video formats and compression standards
