About the RoleUtsavy is looking for a Video Editor Intern to support the creation of engaging visual content for the brand.

This is a remote internship suited for someone who enjoys visual storytelling, understands short-form content, and can transform raw footage and creative ideas into polished videos for social media and digital campaigns.

The intern will work closely with the creative and marketing team to produce content that reflects Utsavy’s warm, premium, and wedding-focused visual identity.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Convert raw footage into engaging, well-paced, and visually appealing edits.
- Add suitable transitions, text, music, sound effects, subtitles, and basic motion graphics where required.
- Adapt videos according to different social media formats and dimensions.
- Work with the team to understand creative briefs, references, and campaign requirements.




- Maintain consistency with Utsavy’s brand style across video content.
- Assist in creating videos for wedding showcases, collaborations, campaigns, product demonstrations, and brand storytelling.
- Select suitable footage, music, and visual elements to improve storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver final files within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with relevant video editing styles, social media formats, and content trends.

Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills.
- Familiarity with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
- Positive understanding of pacing, composition, typography, music, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to create engaging short-form content for platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to incorporate feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple editing tasks while working remotely.
- Creativity and an interest in weddings, lifestyle, design, branding, or social media content.
- Previous video editing projects, freelance work, college projects, or internship experience are a plus.
- A portfolio or sample of previous video editing work is preferred.
