Role Description

We are looking for a Cinematographer & Video Editor to join our creative team in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves both capturing and shaping visual stories from planning and executing shoots to editing and delivering polished, engaging films for a range of brands and projects.

As a Cinematographer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling footage through thoughtful framing, camera movement, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling. You will work closely with directors, photographers, and the creative team to understand the vision for each project and translate it into high-quality visuals.

As a Video Editor, you will take ownership of the post-production process, including footage organization, selects, editing, pacing, transitions, sound, colour correction/grading, and final delivery. You will collaborate with the creative and post-production teams to ensure the final films are cohesive, emotionally engaging, and aligned with the studio’s aesthetic and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute video shoots across different projects and brands.

Operate skilled cinema and video cameras, lenses, and related equipment.

Create strong visual compositions through framing, camera movement, lighting, and shot selection.

Set up and adjust lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots, including wedding and event environments.

Scout and assess locations to determine the best visual approach for each shoot.

Prepare, manage, and maintain camera, lighting, and production equipment.

Collaborate with directors, photographers, creative teams, and production teams throughout the shoot.

Organize and manage footage efficiently for a smooth post-production workflow.

Edit videos from raw footage to final delivery, maintaining strong storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual consistency.

Perform colour correction and colour grading to achieve a consistent visual aesthetic.





Work with music, sound design, dialogue, and other audio elements to enhance the final edit.

Create different video formats and versions as required for social media, campaigns, brands, weddings, and other platforms.

Ensure all final deliverables meet technical, creative, and quality standards.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Contribute creative ideas during both the shooting and editing stages.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Cinematography, Camera Operation, and Video Editing.

Proven ability to capture and edit high-quality, visually compelling content.

Experience in video and film production, including shoot planning, execution, post-production, and delivery.

Proficiency in lighting and the ability to create visually appealing lighting setups in different environments.

Familiarity with professional video/cinema cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and production accessories.

Strong understanding of composition, camera movement, storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.

Proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.

Knowledge of colour correction/grading, sound editing, codecs, formats, and export workflows.

Ability to work efficiently with large volumes of footage and maintain an organized post-production workflow.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills across creative, production, photography, and post-production teams.

Ability to adapt to different visual styles and client requirements while maintaining the studio’s overall aesthetic.

Relevant education or training in film, media, cinematography, visual arts, or a related field is an advantage.

- Prior experience in wedding, event, lifestyle, commercial, or brand filmmaking, particularly in Indian wedding environments, is a plus.
