THE ROLEWe are looking for a Video Content & Production Intern who understands the power of visual storytelling and wants hands-on experience creating professional content.

You will work closely with the founder and marketing team to create video content for Blu Dexter and its clients.

The role covers both production and post-production, so you should ideally be comfortable with shooting as well as editing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

VIDEO PRODUCTION

- Shoot short-form videos and Reels
- Assist with client shoots
- Set up basic camera, lighting and audio equipment
- Frame and compose shots effectively
- Assist with interview and talking-head shoots
- Capture behind-the-scenes content
- Support shoot planning and preparation
- Organise and manage raw footage

VIDEO EDITING
- Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Create engaging short-form cuts
- Add captions and subtitles
- Add music, transitions and basic motion graphics
- Repurpose long-form footage into short-form content
- Create different cuts for different platforms
- Implement feedback and revisions
- Maintain organised project files and assets

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
- Assist with video concepts
- Research content trends and formats
- Suggest hooks and visual approaches
- Collaborate with the marketing team
- Help translate brand strategy into visual content
- Contribute ideas for Blu Dexter's own content

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Solid interest in video and content creation




- Good visual sense
- Understanding of social-media video formats
- Basic shooting knowledge
- Basic editing knowledge
- Familiarity with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar
- Understanding of framing, composition, lighting and audio
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Willingness to experiment and learn

A portfolio, Instagram page, YouTube channel or sample edits is strongly preferred. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONSYour primary objective is:
