Job Title: USG Technician / Ultrasound Technician Location: Aurelia Diagnostic Private Limited, Kolkata Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and responsible USG Technician to perform ultrasound examinations, operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently, and assist doctors/radiologists in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and specialized USG/Ultrasound examinations as prescribed. Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment.

Prepare patients for examinations and explain the procedure clearly. Ensure proper patient positioning and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection-control protocols.

Maintain accurate patient records and examination details. Assist radiologists/doctors during ultrasound procedures when required. Check equipment regularly and report technical issues promptly.



Maintain patient confidentiality and provide professional patient care.

Follow the diagnostic centre's quality and operational standards.

Required

QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Medical Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology / Sonography or relevant qualification. Relevant experience as a USG/Ultrasound Technician preferred. Valuable knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging procedures. Strong communication and patient-handling skills. Ability to work responsibly in a diagnostic centre environment.

Experience Preferred: 5-10 years of relevant experience. Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
