Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated fresher or early-career professional to join our Trade Operations team. This is an entry-level, support-focused role where you will assist with day-to-day trade processing, manual checks, and basic system monitoring. You'll work under the guidance of senior team members and gradually build an understanding of how trading operations run. No prior trading experience is required — just attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

What You Will Do

- Assist with manual trade processing and reconciliation checks
- Perform routine data entry and verification in trade records
- Monitor trading system dashboards and flag anomalies to senior team members
- Run basic, pre-written SQL queries to look up trade data as needed
- Maintain logs, trackers, and simple spreadsheets to track daily tasks
- Support senior engineers by gathering information and preparing basic status updates
- Document day-to-day processes and incident notes
- Follow established checklists and standard operating procedures

What We Are Looking For

Must Have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce,



Mathematics, or a related field
- Basic familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Basic knowledge of Python or willingness to learn straightforward scripts under guidance
- Basic SQL knowledge — able to read and run simple queries
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, patient approach to repetitive tasks

Good to Have:

- Basic understanding of financial concepts such as stocks, orders, or trade execution (academic or self-taught)
- Comfort working with spreadsheets (Excel) for tracking and reporting
- Any internship or academic project experience involving data or systems

What You Will Learn

This role is structured as a learning track. Over your first 6–12 months, you will progressively build familiarity with:

1. Trading concepts: order lifecycle, execution flow, fills, and reconciliation
2. How trading systems are monitored day-to-day
3. Reading and understanding trade data and logs
4. Basic incident support and escalation procedures
