We are looking for Technical Lead (Component Engineer) for one our premier client.

Employment Type : Full Time

Experience : 8-10 Years.

Location : Hyderabad

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in “E&C;”, “EEE”.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the investigation & qualification of new electronic components for replacement of original out of production and obsolete components specified by customer.

· Review of component lifecycle to assure longevity and selection of parts that best fit the requirements & Obsolescence life cycle management.

· Provide support to all designers to perform component research and participate in component life cycle and evaluate all components for various processes.

· Should have knowledge on Electromechanical commodities

· Analyse ECR/ECO, RoHS and REACH, WEEE, Prop65, MDDS, IPC standards Information of Electronics and Electromechanical Components.





· Technical Data capture of Electronic/Electro Mechanical components from Manufacturer provided datasheets.

· Evaluate alternative components to match the preferred components.

· Monitor, Identify and resolve all lifecycle issues and assist various teams to identify appropriate resources and substitutes for components.

· Knowledge on full materials disclosure is preferred

· Analyze and develop solutions to resolve all issues associate with obsolete components and perform component level tests.

· Review and interpret all component data sheets and evaluate all components for various product applications.

· Experience with BOM and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) related processes.

· I.H.S, Silicon Expert, Analysis Tools

Added Advantage Tools:

· PDM/PLM tools Team Centre, Wind chill, Enovia, SAP, Agile.

Skills required:

· A Strong customer and teamwork orientation, willingness to undertake a wide range of assignments and have good customer co-ordination skills.

· Should have flexibility and agility in problem solving.

· Ability to work both independently & as part of a team with Good Communication Skills.

· Ability to make quick, informed decisions on a regular basis

· Should able to handle and manage multiple projects with deadlines

· Written-ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal teams.

· Should be highly independent, self-driven with positive attitude, high professional ethics, and flexible with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with peers across different cultures and time zones.
