Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a SME/TL Role at Med Karma.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the Charge Entry team.

· Review and monitor daily charge entry volumes and ensure all charges are processed within the agreed TAT.

· Allocate work among team members based on workload, priority, and capacity.

· Monitor unbilled, pending, and rejected charge inventory and ensure timely resolution.

· Monitor daily productivity, quality, and accuracy against established targets.

· Identify and resolve charge entry errors before claims are submitted and identify recurring errors and implement CAPA also Increase the first pass ratio.

· Ensure the team follows client-specific SOPs, workflows,



and billing guidelines.

· Coordinate with Coding, AR/Denials Team, and other RCM teams to resolve workflow issues.

· Resolve Eligibility related Denials and Rejections to Increase Practice Revenue.

· Work closely with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· 2–3 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM/Medical Billing, preferably with experience a SME/Team Lead.

· Strong hands-on experience in Charge Entry and Preferred who has experience in CA state.

· Experience working with multiple EHR/Practice Management systems such as eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Athenahealth, AdvancedMD, Tebra/Kareo, Collab MD, IntakeQ or similar platforms.

· Good understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers, POS, and basic claim billing requirements.

· Strong knowledge of US healthcare billing and RCM workflows.

· Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and team-management skills.

· Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including Vlookup, Basic filters, IF/AND/OR formulas & Pivot.

· Proficiency in Governance Reporting and productivity reporting.
