Enterprise Sales Manager

Company: Easy Clinic Location: Kolkata, India (in office)

Reports to: Founder and CEO

Markets: Africa and Southeast Asia

Travel: Significant international travel across Africa and Southeast Asia

Experience: 3 to 6 years

ABOUT EASY CLINIC

Easy Clinic is a healthcare ERP and EMR platform used by 5,000 plus providers across 18 countries, primarily India, Africa and Southeast Asia. Our customers are clinics, clinic chains, nursing homes and hospital OPDs. The platform covers Patient Records and EMR, OPD, IPD and ADT, Pharmacy, Lab, Inventory, Billing and Finance, Appointments and CuraPilot, our AI clinical copilot.

This role sells into Africa and Southeast Asia, not India. These are markets where we are often replacing paper or a broken system entirely, where the buying group spans clinical leadership, finance, IT and the owner, and where government payer schemes and local regulation shape the deal as much as the product does. India is an established market for us; the growth is here.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

We are looking for someone early in their career who is ready to learn enterprise selling properly, from the person who has closed these deals himself. You will sit alongside the CEO on live opportunities, take progressively more of the deal on your own, and within a year be running your own pipeline end to end.

You will own a territory and a number from the start. What is different here is who is in the room with you. On the largest opportunities you will work the deal directly with the Founder: joint discovery, joint negotiation, joint pricing calls. You will see how these deals are actually won, and you will be expected to run them yourself soon after.

Most people at your stage spend years waiting for that access. Here it is the job.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Pipeline and prospecting

- Build and own a qualified pipeline of clinic chains, hospital groups, nursing homes and healthcare NGOs across Africa and Southeast Asia
- Research target accounts properly: ownership structure, number of sites, current systems, funding, expansion plans
- Run structured outbound: LinkedIn, email, industry events and warm introductions
- Keep the CRM accurate. A deal that is not in the system does not exist

Deal execution

- Run discovery conversations that surface real operational pain, not feature checklists
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to the specific clinic workflow, not a generic script
- Map the buying group: clinical lead, operations, finance, IT and owner, and understand who actually signs
- Build proposals, pricing and business cases; manage pilots and proofs of concept through to commercial close
- Handle procurement, security reviews, NDAs and contracting with support from the Founder and legal

Market and product feedback

- Bring structured field intelligence back into product: what we lost on, what competitors are doing, what buyers keep asking for
- Support market entry work in new African and Southeast Asian markets alongside the Founder

AI in your workflow

- We expect you to use AI tooling seriously in daily selling: account research, call preparation, proposal drafting, follow-up and CRM hygiene
- We will teach you how we do this. We will not accept someone who works the way sales was worked 10 years ago

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

- 3 to 6 years in B2B sales, with at least 2 years selling software or SaaS to businesses
- A track record of carrying and hitting a quota, with numbers you can talk through honestly
- Comfortable with consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles of 2 to 6 months
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the confidence to sell into cultures other than your own
- Willing to travel internationally on a regular basis, with a valid passport or the ability to obtain one quickly
- Comfortable running calls and follow-up across multiple time zones from a Kolkata base

Attributes that matter more than the CV

- Genuine curiosity about how healthcare businesses actually run
- Willing to take direct feedback in the moment and act on it, and to say what you do not know rather than bluff

- Comfort with ambiguity: these markets are not mature and the playbook is still being written
- Commercial instinct: knowing when to discount, when to walk, and when to slow a deal down
- Personal organisation. This role fails on poor follow-up more than on poor pitching

Useful, not required

- Healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics or health insurance background
- Experience selling into Africa, Southeast Asia or other emerging markets
- Exposure to government or payer-funded healthcare programmes
- Understanding of clinical or hospital operations

WHAT WILL NOT WORK IN THIS ROLE

- Pure inside sales or SDR profiles who have only booked meetings and never closed
- Transactional or high-volume selling backgrounds with no experience of a considered buying decision
- Anyone who needs a fully built playbook, a marketing-generated lead flow and a manager checking in daily
- Anyone who needs feedback delivered gently, or who defends a lost deal instead of dissecting it

WHAT YOU GET

- A seat next to the Founder on live enterprise deals in 2 growth markets: this is the core of the offer
- Your own territory, your own number and real authority over how you work it
- Genuine international exposure across Africa and Southeast Asia at a stage in your career when most peers are selling in 1 city
- Base salary plus uncapped commission, benchmarked to experience

LOCATION The role is based in Kolkata and is on-site. Learning happens through proximity, so we are not considering remote arrangements. Relocation support is provided for strong candidates currently in other cities.

HOW WE ASSESS

1. Introductory conversation on background and motivation
2. Deal walkthrough: talk us through an opportunity you owned, start to finish, including one you lost
3. Live exercise: research a target healthcare account and present how you would approach it
4. Working session with the Founder on a live opportunity
5. Reference conversations

TO APPLY Send your CV along with a short note covering:

- The largest deal you have personally closed, and what your specific role in it was
- A deal you lost, and what you would do differently
- Why enterprise healthcare software, and why now
