About the RoleWe’re looking for a Social Media & Content Strategist who understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch, engage and remember a brand.

This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll ideate content, appear confidently in front of the camera, direct shoots, work with creators and influencers, and help shape how Matri communicates across social media.

You won’t just manage a content calendar. You’ll help build Matri’s voice, personality and community.

What You’ll Do

- Content Ideation & Strategy: Develop fresh content ideas, formats, series, hooks and campaign concepts aligned with Matri’s brand.
- On-Camera Content: Confidently anchor and feature in selected reels, educational videos, interviews, vox pops and other social-first content.
- Content Direction: Plan and direct shoots with our video editor, graphic designer, creators and internal team.
- UGC Content: Conceptualise scripts, briefs and formats for authentic creator and UGC-style videos.
- Influencer Marketing: Discover relevant creators, manage outreach, collaborations, briefs, negotiations and campaign execution.
- Campaign Planning: Build creative campaigns around product launches, menstrual wellness, cultural moments and brand initiatives.
- Content Calendar: Own the monthly and weekly content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Scripts & Copy: Write strong hooks, reel scripts, captions, CTAs and creator briefs that sound natural rather than overly promotional.
- Trend Spotting:



Stay close to internet culture, emerging formats, conversations and trends, while knowing which ones actually fit Matri.
- Community Understanding: Listen to what women are talking about and turn real questions, experiences and conversations into meaningful content.
- Performance & Learning: Track reach, engagement, watch time, shares, saves and conversions, and use those insights to continuously improve content.

Who We’re Looking ForSomeone who:

- Is confident and natural in front of the camera
- Has a strong understanding of Instagram, Reels and short-form content
- Can think of ideas instead of waiting for a brief
- Understands storytelling, hooks and audience psychology
- Has a valuable eye for visual content and shoot direction
- Understands UGC and influencer marketing
- Can plan and execute a content calendar independently
- Is comfortable talking about menstrual wellness and women’s health
- Can balance trends with long-term brand building
- Takes ownership from idea → script → shoot → publish → analyse
