Role Description The SEO Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Puducherry, India. This role involves performing keyword research, analyzing website performance, and implementing on-page SEO optimizations to improve search rankings and organic traffic. The SEO Analyst will monitor web analytics and SEO metrics, prepare performance reports, and identify opportunities to enhance visibility across search engines.

Daily responsibilities also include managing link-building activities, collaborating with marketing and content teams to align SEO strategies with campaign goals, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong keyword research and on-page SEO skills, including optimizing content, meta tags, and site structure.




- Exp 1–3 years of experience in Digital Marketing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of digital marketing and broader marketing concepts to align SEO with campaign objectives.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Ability to interpret technical SEO issues (site speed, mobile friendliness, indexing) and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role in an agency or product-based company is preferred.

Good to have

- Experience managing client accounts or agency projects.
- Knowledge of Canva or basic creative tools.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager and Google Ads Manager.
- Basic understanding of website analytics and conversion tracking.
- Knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile.
