The Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing efficient, scalable, and user-centred experiences across both internal platforms and customer-facing web products, with a strong focus on tools used by operational and business teams.

This role is key to improving complex workflows and platform usability, helping teams work more effectively through better design. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to turn operational needs into intuitive and high-impact solutions.

Experience working with design systems, strong attention to detail, and a solid technical understanding will be key to ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams.

Role Responsibilities

- Create end-to-end designs: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, ensuring scalability and consistency
- Build understanding and own the user journeys maps, personas for complex journeys.
- Improve usability and accessibility: Optimize interfaces for clarity, speed, and accessibility (WCAG), especially in complex systems
- Collaborate Closely with Developers: Work closely with developers during the design implementation process, providing detailed design specifications, style guides, assets,



and any necessary clarifications to ensure high-quality execution. Utilise the Design System framework to document and manage UI components, ensuring consistent design implementation across teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive and effective user experiences aligned with business goals
- Drive data-informed improvements: Participate in testing and iterate designs based on qualitative and quantitative insights to optimise the user experience

Job Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Figma tool;
- Expert in documenting system-user interaction with story-telling, user journeys and use-cases;
- Robust understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and design systems, with experience creating and maintaining them.
- Proficiency in Design System for managing design components is required. Understanding of what a front-end developer needs in order to build that design (web front development, icon sprites generation, documenting color codes, margins, blocks);
- Have a vision of how to make applications feel naturally and being able adjust the vision to the context (purpose of project, user profile, timelines);
- Has a portfolio displaying a track record of relevant designs.
- Has experience with AI tools for prototyping and has used them in a professional context ( beyond search on ChatGPT)
