Role Description The Senior Sourcing Manager role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for engineering and custom manufacturing parts. This role involves identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and managing strategic partnerships across global supply markets, with particular focus on India-based manufacturing solutions.

The Senior Sourcing

Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to align sourcing strategies with product requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Daily activities include analyzing cost structures, monitoring supplier performance, mitigating supply chain risks,



and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize value for customers. The role also includes preparing sourcing reports, supporting customer proposals, and contributing to process standardization and best practices across the sourcing function.

Qualifications

- Robust experience in strategic sourcing and procurement for engineering or manufacturing parts, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of global supply chains, particularly India- and Asia-based manufacturing, with skills in vendor management, risk assessment, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and production processes to align sourcing decisions with technical requirements and quality standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis, cost modeling, and use of sourcing or ERP tools to support decision-making and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a remote and multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
- Experience working with clients in Western markets and familiarity with international trade, tariffs, and compliance requirements is beneficial.
