Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

to design and deliver complex features for our SaaS product platforms. As a senior member of a collaborative pod, you will own features end‐to‐end—leveraging

AI tools across the development lifecycle to ensure high‐quality outcomes. This role combines technical leadership, hands‐on backend development, and mentoring, with a solid focus on scalability, performance, and innovation. Work Location: Hyderabad What You'll Do Lead the design and implementation of complex backend features with a

DevOps mindset . Collaborate with Technical PMs to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications. Use

AI coding assistants

(Claude Code, Windsurf, etc.) to accelerate development and validation. Review AI‐generated and peer code for correctness, security, and performance. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and drive improvements in AI‐assisted development practices. Design and implement

REST APIs following established patterns. Build scalable SaaS applications using

Java, JSP, Node.js, and XML technologies . Support both

UI and backend services within your pod's domain. Mentor engineers on effective AI usage, specification writing, and code review practices. Share knowledge across pods and contribute to workflow optimization.



Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable SaaS software. Strong backend development skills with

Java, JSP, Node.js, XML . Proficiency in

HTML5, CSS/Sass, Angular, React, TypeScript/JavaScript . Solid understanding of

SQL databases

(SQL Server, MySQL). Experience with

REST API design and source control (Git). Hands‐on experience with

AI coding assistants . Strong collaboration, communication, and code review skills. Experience mentoring engineers through code review or technical guidance. Preferred Exposure to spec‐driven, agentic AI workflows . Knowledge of

NoSQL databases

(MongoDB, DynamoDB). Familiarity with

Elastic, Apache Solr, Lucene . Experience with
