As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of complex product areas, from early problem framing to high-fidelity execution. You'll work at the intersection of user advocacy, design craft, and AI interaction patterns, ensuring that intelligent features remain intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely useful to the people who depend on them every day.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end product design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions with tangible outcomes.
- Excellence in Figma: auto-layouts, components, responsive design, and design systems.
- Deep understanding of UX and visual design, with a high bar for craft and quality.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Research.
- Experience designing for B2B, enterprise, or platform applications is highly desirable.
- Comfort working with and experimenting with AI tools across the design process.
- Solid communication and storytelling skills: you can articulate your rationale clearly to any audience.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end design for complex features and product areas.
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear, well-reasoned design solutions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes,



and high-fidelity UI across the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers from discovery through delivery.
- Contribute to and evolve Tekion's design system: components, patterns, and documentation.
- Conduct and synthesize user research to validate and refine design decisions.
- Present design work clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Identify opportunity areas where AI can reduce friction or improve user outcomes.
- Maintain design quality and consistency across your product area.
- Mentor and support more junior designers on the team.

AI Design Competency

- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools across different stages of the design process like research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation.
- Ability to design features powered by AI while keeping the human in the loop.
- Translate complex system behaviour: predictions, recommendations,

classifications into intuitive, digestible interfaces.
- Design AI interactions that users can understand, question, and control surfacing confidence, uncertainty, and fallbacks where needed.
- Familiarity with conversational and multi-turn interaction design within structured enterprise workflows.
- Identify patterns and opportunity areas where AI can be leveraged to meaningfully improve user experience.
- Stay current on AI design trends, tools, and interaction patterns and bring relevant learnings back to the team.

- Create guided experiences of recommendations, assistants, and personalization that respect user autonomy.
- Ensure AI interactions are transparent, controllable, and trustworthy.
- Reduce friction in high-stakes journeys like vehicle purchase, service booking,

payments.
