Company: The ART Container About The ART Container The ART Container is an Ahmedabad-based architecture and interior design studio creating bespoke, design-led spaces across residential, hospitality, retail and commercial projects .

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who can take ownership of multiple projects, translate design intent into technically accurate drawings, and lead junior designers through the execution of projects.

This is a role for someone who is strong technically, highly organised and capable of taking responsibility — not just someone who can create good-looking designs. Key Responsibilities

- Project Ownership Independently handle 7–10 projects simultaneously across different stages of design and execution. Take responsibility for project timelines, drawings, coordination and day-to-day design deliverables. Ensure projects move smoothly from concept development to detailed design and execution. Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and site teams wherever required.
- Technical Drawings — PRIME RESPONSIBILITY Prepare and review detailed working drawings and construction drawings . Develop plans, sections, elevations, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, electrical layouts and other technical details. Prepare detailed joinery, furniture and material details. Ensure drawings are technically accurate, coordinated and ready for execution. Review drawings prepared by junior designers before issuing them for execution. Identify technical issues and resolve them proactively.




- 3 D Visualisation — PRIME RESPONSIBILITY Create high-quality 3 D models and interior visualisations based on the design concept. Develop detailed 3 D models for furniture, ceilings, walls, materials and architectural elements. Translate design concepts into accurate and visually strong 3 D presentations. Make revisions quickly based on client and design-team feedback. Maintain consistency between 2 D drawings, 3 D models and final design intent .
- Team Leadership & Mentoring Guide and mentor junior interior designers and interns. Allocate tasks and monitor deliverables within the team. Review junior designers' drawings, 3 D work and presentations. Train juniors on technical detailing, drawing standards and design processes. Ensure the overall quality of the team's output meets The ART Container's standards.
- Design & Client Coordination Participate in design development and client presentations. Understand the design intent and ensure it is maintained through detailed documentation. Communicate design decisions clearly with clients and consultants. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors and site teams when required. What We Are Looking For 4–7 years of professional experience in interior design. Strong command of Auto CAD and 3 D software . Excellent understanding of technical drawings and interior detailing . Strong knowledge of furniture, joinery, materials, ceiling,



flooring and construction detailing. Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong eye for design and attention to detail. Ability to identify problems before they reach the site. Robust communication and coordination skills. Ability to lead, guide and develop junior designers. Highly organised with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Must-Have Skills

Auto CAD / Technical Drawings — Expert

3 D Modelling & Visualisation — Expert

Interior Detailing — Strong

Project Coordination — Strong

Team Management — Strong Preferred

Experience in premium residential, hospitality, retail or high-end commercial interiors will be preferred.

Knowledge of software such as 3ds Max, Sketch Up, V-Ray, Corona, Enscape, Lumion or similar will be an advantage. What Success Looks Like

Within this role, you will be expected to:

Independently manage 7–10 projects without constant founder intervention. Deliver technically accurate drawings on time. Produce high-quality 3 D visualisations efficiently. Maintain coordination between design, drawings and execution. Improve the technical capabilities of junior designers. Take ownership of project deliverables rather than waiting for instructions. Become a dependable technical backbone of the design team.
