Senior Director/Director – Analog Design /n Location: Bengaluru /n /n We are seeking a Director / Senior Director – Analog Design with 14+ years of industry experience to lead and scale our analog design team in Bangalore. /n The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in analog/mixed-signal IC design, architecture, circuit design, simulation, verification, and silicon bring-up. The candidate will provide technical leadership, drive customer engagements, mentor senior engineers, and establish best-in-class analog design methodologies and processes. /n /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n /n
- Lead the Analog and Mixed-Signal Design organization and provide technical direction across multiple projects.
/n
- Own analog design programs from specification, architecture, circuit design, simulation, layout collaboration, verification, tape-out, and silicon validation .
/n
- Drive architecture and design decisions for high-performance analog and mixed-signal blocks.
/n
- Provide technical leadership in areas such as:
/n
- Data converters – ADC/DAC
/n
- PLL/DLL and clocking circuits
/n
- Bandgap references and LDOs
/n
- Power management circuits
/n
- Amplifiers and operational amplifiers
/n
- SerDes/High-Speed I/O analog blocks
/n
- Sensor interfaces
/n
- Analog front-end circuits
/n
- Mixed-signal interfaces
/n
- Review circuit architectures, schematics, simulation results, and design methodologies.
/n
- Drive PVT, Monte Carlo, mismatch, noise, stability, reliability, and corner analysis .
/n
- Work closely with Analog Layout, Physical Design, RTL, Digital Verification, DFT, STA, and System teams to ensure successful SoC integration.
/n
- Lead technical reviews, design sign-offs, and risk assessments.
/n
- Drive design quality, schedule adherence, and successful tape-out and silicon bring-up .
/n
- Develop and improve analog design methodologies, flows,
and best practices.
/n
- Mentor and develop senior engineers, technical leads, and architects.
/n
- Build and scale a high-performing analog design organization.
/n
- Participate in customer discussions, technical presentations, project planning, and solution definition.
/n
- Support business development by providing technical inputs for proposals, estimations, and new customer engagements.
/n
- Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
/n
- Stay current with emerging analog, mixed-signal, semiconductor, and advanced-node technologies.
/n /n Required Skills & Qualifications /n /n /n
- 14+ years of relevant experience in Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design.
/n
- Strong expertise in CMOS analog circuit design and semiconductor development .
/n
- Proven experience leading analog design teams and complex chip development programs.
/n
- Strong understanding of analog circuit architectures, transistor-level design, simulation, and verification .
/n
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard analog design tools such as:
/n
- Cadence Virtuoso
/n
- Spectre / SpectreRF
/n
- ADE
/n
- Calibre or equivalent verification tools
/n
- Strong knowledge of SPICE simulation and circuit analysis .
/n
- Experience with advanced semiconductor process technologies is highly desirable.
/n
- Strong understanding of analog layout considerations and circuit-layout interaction .
/n
- Experience with silicon validation, debugging, characterization,
and post-silicon analysis .
/n
- Strong knowledge of analog design fundamentals including noise, mismatch, stability, device modeling, parasitics, PVT variation, and reliability.
/n
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working with global customers.
/n
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and people-management skills.

- Previous experience as Analog Design Manager, Group Manager, Architect, Senior Principal Engineer, Associate Director, or Director .

- Strong experience in customer-facing technical leadership.
