About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout programs, with strong working knowledge of SAP FI/CO (Financial Accounting and Controlling). The ideal candidate will own project governance, timelines, and stakeholder relationships across the full implementation lifecycle — from initiation through go-live and hypercare — while being conversant enough in FICO processes to guide functional consultants, validate design decisions, and speak credibly with finance stakeholders. Good to have knowledge on other modules like MM, SD, and PS.

Key Responsibility :

- Own the end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation/rollout projects, including planning, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management.
- Define and track project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables using standard project management methodology (Waterfall or Agile).
- Manage project governance: steering committee updates, status reporting, RAID logs, and change control.
- Coordinate across functional (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.), technical (ABAP/Basis/Integration), and infrastructure workstreams to ensure aligned delivery.
- Drive testing cycles (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, data migration sign-off, and go-live readiness.




- Lead post-go-live hypercare and transition to steady-state support.
- Partner with FICO functional consultants to validate business process designs, fit-gap analysis, and configuration decisions against finance/controlling requirements.
- Support integration touchpoints between FICO and other modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client sponsors, business process owners, and steering committee members.
- Manage a cross-functional team of functional consultants, technical consultants, and business analysts.
- Escalate and resolve project risks/issues in a timely manner; manage scope and change requests.

Required Skill :

- 10+ years of overall IT/consulting experience, with at least 5 years in project management roles on SAP engagements.
- Solid functional understanding of SAP FI/CO modules — able to read configuration, discuss process design, and challenge functional teams credibly.
- Proven track record managing project timelines, resource plans, and multi-vendor delivery teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models.
