We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cooling Tower Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the cooling tower segment, building robust client relationships, and providing technical sales support to industrial and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries requiring cooling tower solutions (HVAC, power plants, chemical processing, manufacturing, data centers, etc.)

Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and technical proposals to clients

Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer cooling requirements

Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle

Provide post-sales support and coordinate with technical teams for installation and maintenance

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and negotiate contracts effectively

Technical Expertise

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cooling tower systems, components, and applications

Understand client specifications and recommend appropriate cooling tower solutions

Collaborate with engineering teams to design customized solutions

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products

Provide technical guidance on energy efficiency, water treatment, and system optimization

Market Intelligence

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies





Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product development

Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field

MBA or technical sales certification is a plus

Experience

3-5 years of proven sales experience in cooling towers, HVAC systems, or industrial equipment

Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Experience in B2B technical sales with consultative selling approach

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of cooling tower design, operation, and maintenance

Knowledge of heat transfer principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics

Familiarity with water treatment processes and energy efficiency standards

Understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (CTI, ASHRAE, etc.)

Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong negotiation and closing abilities

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite

Self-motivated with excellent time management skills

Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50-70% of the time)

Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Existing network of contacts in target industries

Experience with packaged cooling towers, modular systems, and custom-engineered solutions

Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building standards

Familiarity with project management principles

Multilingual abilities
