Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Lead / Project Manager with strong Quality Assurance (QA) experience to lead end-to-end IT projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Project Management, Software Testing/QA, Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, risk management, and delivery management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Manage and coordinate QA, development, business, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
- Establish and monitor project quality standards, processes, and KPIs.
- Drive end-to-end Software Testing and QA activities, including test planning, test execution, defect management, UAT, and release validation.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide project reports and dashboards to management and stakeholders.
- Manage client and stakeholder communication, expectations, escalations, and project governance.
- Work closely with QA teams to define test strategy, test plans, quality metrics,



and release criteria.
- Monitor defects and ensure timely resolution through coordination with development and technical teams.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring defects and quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to organizational SDLC, QA processes, Agile/Scrum practices, and project governance standards.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies where applicable.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and delivery optimization.
- Mentor and guide project team members and QA professionals.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in IT Project Management / Project Leadership / Software Delivery.
- Robust hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in test planning, test strategy, defect management, UAT, regression testing, and release management.
- Strong experience in risk, issue, dependency, resource, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience with project and defect management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of QA metrics, KPIs, quality gates, and reporting.
