We are seeking a seasoned mechanical design professional to lead our experienced engineering design team. The Project Lead will drive concept development, oversee design execution and ensure delivery of innovative mechanical solutions for the reputed US or EU clients in Aerospace, defense, automotive and related sectors.

Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and present product design proposals tailored to customer requirements
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, FEA validation and engineering approvals
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers, fostering skill development and collaboration
- Develop and validate mechanical concepts for automotive systems, special purpose machines (SPM), and related industrial applications
- Oversee 3D modeling, assemblies,



and detailed drawings using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to technical reviews and milestones
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Min 10 years of hands‑on design experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, material selection etc
- Experience in leading design projects and coordinating with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in handling global projects
- Exposure to BIW or powertrain assembly designs, and test standards
- Experience with design automation tools or PLM systems.
- Ability to balance innovation with practical engineering solutions
