Role Description The Production Manager – Press Shop is a full-time, on-site role based in Khanjhawala. This role oversees daily press shop operations, including planning and managing production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring output meets quality, safety, and delivery standards.

Responsibilities include supervising machine operators and technicians, monitoring equipment performance, coordinating maintenance, and resolving production issues to minimize downtime.

The Production

Manager will implement and improve standard operating procedures, maintain inventory of raw materials and tooling, and collaborate with design, purchasing,



and quality teams to support current product introductions and continuous improvement. The role also involves tracking production metrics, preparing reports, and promoting a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in press shop or metal fabrication production management, preferably in furniture or consumer goods manufacturing.
- Robust skills in production planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to supervise and develop shop-floor teams, with a focus on performance, safety, and clear communication.
- Knowledge of press machines, tooling, preventive maintenance practices, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Understanding of quality control procedures, safety regulations, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with production reporting, basic data analysis, and the use of ERP or manufacturing management systems.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification (e.g., diploma or degree in mechanical or industrial engineering) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site full-time in Khanjhawala.
