About Resource Ramp
Resource Ramp is a startup incubation centre in Chembur, Mumbai, and an initiative of Resource Workspaces. Our 12-month programme will support early-stage founders through a 40-seat hub, mentorship, access to angel investors and quarterly demo days. The first cohort of 12 to 13 startups opens in November 2026. We are also the Venue Partner for Local Startup Meet, Mumbai 2026 on 24 October.
Role Overview
You will support partnerships, event coordination and preparations for our first startup cohort, working with the Operations Head and Promoter. This is a hands-on role in the startup ecosystem, within an unstructured environment where processes are still being built and priorities can change. It suits someone who takes initiative, stays organised and asks questions when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospective corporate sponsors and ecosystem partners, identify relevant contacts and summarise why each is a good fit.
- Draft personalised outreach emails and LinkedIn messages for review and approval before sending.
- Maintain the prospect tracker with contact details, conversation notes, next steps and deadlines. Coordinate approved follow-ups and meetings.
- Support event preparations and execution, including registrations, confirmations, checklists and sponsor deliverables.
- Research founders suited to the programme and organise enquiries for cohort selection.
- Compile event outcomes,
sponsor delivery records and a transparent handover at the end of the internship.
Candidate Profile
- Final-year students or recent graduates interested in entrepreneurship, business development or startup operations. A business degree or MBA in progress is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel, online research and clear written English.
- Reliable with deadlines, attentive to details and consistent with follow-ups.
- Able to work independently on assigned tasks, adapt to changing priorities and seek guidance when needed.
- Basic Canva skills are useful. Previous startup experience is not required.
Learning and Development
You will gain practical experience in building corporate partnerships, coordinating a startup event and supporting an incubator's first cohort. Working closely with the Operations Head and Promoter, you will see how early-stage founders, mentors, investors and corporate partners engage with an incubation programme. Weekly feedback will help you strengthen your research, communication, coordination and execution skills. You will also receive a written reference at the end of the internship.
Career Progression
There is potential to convert the internship into a full-time role, subject to performance and a review at the end of the internship.
