Role: Oracle SCM Functional Consultant

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion/Cloud SCM Functional Consultant with 7+ years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Management and hands-on experience in implementing, supporting, configuring, and integrating Oracle SCM solutions.

The candidate must have functional expertise in any 3 or more of the following Oracle SCM domains:

· Procurement

· Order Management (OM)

· Inventory

· Product Data Hub (PDH)

· Manufacturing

· Costing

· Planning The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project teams to understand business requirements, design Oracle SCM solutions, configure the system, support testing, and ensure successful implementation or production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Fusion/Cloud SCM Functional Responsibilities:

· Analyse business requirements and translate them into Oracle SCM functional solutions.

· Conduct requirement gathering, business process analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.

· Configure Oracle SCM modules based on business requirements and industry best practices.

· Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and other project deliverables.

· Participate in solution walkthroughs and discussions with business stakeholders.

· Identify process improvements and recommend appropriate Oracle SCM solutions.

· Support implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.





· Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

· Ensure solutions align with Oracle standard functionality and avoid unnecessary customizations.

Functional & Implementation Responsibilities:

· Participate in the complete project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

· Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements and integrations.

· Work with technical consultants to explain functional requirements and validate technical solutions.

· Conduct conference room pilots, demos, and solution walkthroughs.

· Develop and execute SIT/UAT test scenarios.

· Support data migration and validation activities.

· Assist business users during UAT and provide functional training where required.

· Prepare user manuals, process documents, and training materials.

· Support cutover, go-live, and hyper care activities.

· Analyse production issues, identify root causes, and provide sustainable solutions.

· Manage multiple priorities while working effectively in a project-driven environment.

Required Skills:

· 7+ years of overall experience, preferably with strong Oracle Fusion/Cloud SCM Functional experience.

· Strong hands-on experience in at least 3 Oracle SCM domains from:

Procurement, OM, Inventory, PDH, Manufacturing, Costing, Planning.

· Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain business processes.

· Experience in Oracle SCM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.

· Ability to independently handle requirements, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

· Ability to work with both business users and technical teams.

· Good documentation and presentation skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
