As we expand our neurological rehabilitation services, we are looking for a highly skilled and clinically driven MPT Physiotherapist specialising in Neurology to join our team.

The Role

As an MPT Neuro Physiotherapist at VitalPhysio⁺, you will be responsible for the assessment, clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive neurological and functional physiotherapy assessments, including relevant subjective and objective examination.
- Assess and address motor control, muscle tone, strength, coordination,

balance, postural control, gait, mobility, functional movement, and activities of daily living, as clinically appropriate.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions including task-specific training,

therapeutic exercise, functional rehabilitation, balance and gait training,

motor relearning, neuromuscular re-education, and other evidence-based neurorehabilitation approaches.

- Treat patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease,

multiple sclerosis, spinal cord disorders, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy,





peripheral neurological disorders, vestibular and balance disorders, and other neurological presentations, as appropriate to the centre's clinical practice.

- Establish measurable short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals and regularly evaluate progress against defined clinical outcomes.
- Modify treatment programmes based on clinical response, functional progress,

reassessment findings, and outcome measures.
- Maintain high-quality, accurate, and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation, home programmes,

mobility, exercise, safety, positioning, and strategies to maximise functional independence.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to support holistic, patient-centred rehabilitation.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) with specialisation in Neurology / Neuro

Physiotherapy.
- Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a neuro-

focused hospital, rehabilitation centre, or physiotherapy clinic are strongly preferred.




- Robust academic foundation and excellent knowledge of neurological physiotherapy and neurorehabilitation.
- Demonstrable competence in neurological assessment, clinical reasoning,

treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, functional rehabilitation, and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
