: Microsoft Stack (L3)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to manage, support, and optimize the organization's Microsoft ecosystem. The role will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, automation, security, and operational excellence of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure/Entra ID, Windows Server Infrastructure, and PowerShell automation.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, solid troubleshooting capabilities, and experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Infrastructure Administration

- Provide L3 support and technical leadership for Microsoft infrastructure services.
- Manage and administer:
- Active Directory (AD DS)
- Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID)
- Group Policy Management
- DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services
- Windows Server Environment
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Microsoft infrastructure.
- Perform capacity planning, system health monitoring, and proactive maintenance.

Microsoft 365 Administration

- Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including:
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Defender Suite
- Intune
- Administer user provisioning, licensing, role assignments, and security policies.
- Troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 issues and service integrations.
- Manage hybrid environments connecting on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft 365 services.

Messaging & Collaboration

- Administer and support:
- Exchange Online
- Hybrid Exchange Environments
- Mail Flow Configuration
- Connectors and Transport Rules
- Shared Mailboxes and Distribution Groups
- Microsoft Teams Administration
- Troubleshoot complex email delivery, authentication, and mailbox issues.
- Manage SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email security configurations.
- Ensure messaging platform security, availability, and compliance.

Identity & Access Management

- Manage Active Directory and Entra ID security and administration.
- Implement and maintain:
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Conditional Access Policies
- Identity Governance
- Privileged Access Management




- Conduct periodic access reviews and security audits.

Automation & Scripting

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using:
- PowerShell
- Microsoft Graph API
- Azure Automation
- Automate routine administrative and operational tasks.
- Create scripts for:
- User Lifecycle Management
- Reporting
- License Management
- Compliance Checks
- Infrastructure Monitoring
- Maintain version control and documentation for automation scripts.

Security & Compliance

- Implement Microsoft security best practices and hardening standards.
- Manage:
- Microsoft Defender
- Security Baselines
- Endpoint Security Policies
- Conditional Access
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Support compliance initiatives including:
- ISO 27001
- SOC 2
- Internal Security Audits
- Participate in vulnerability remediation and security assessments.

Incident Management & Problem Resolution

- Act as the highest level of technical escalation (L3) for Microsoft-related incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Support and third-party vendors for critical issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of complex infrastructure and cloud-related problems.

Project & Transformation Activities

- Lead Microsoft infrastructure upgrade and migration projects.
- Support cloud transformation initiatives and Microsoft 365 adoption programs.
- Design and implement new Microsoft solutions and services.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant Microsoft Certifications preferred:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Windows Server Certifications

Experience





- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Infrastructure Administration.
- Minimum 3–5 years supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
- Experience managing environments with 4000+ users.
- Strong experience in hybrid Microsoft environments.
- Experience working in enterprise IT operations and support environments.
