About the Role:

The Merchandising role will be responsible for managing buyer communication, sampling, costing, order follow-up, production coordination, quality, and shipment timelines. The role involves coordinating closely with buyers and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of orders, from product development and sampling through production and shipment.

Responsibilities:

- Handle buyer communication and coordinate on product and order requirements
- Manage sampling activities and coordinate with relevant teams for timely sample development
- Prepare and manage costing as per product and buyer requirements
- Coordinate product development activities with internal teams and buyers
- Follow up on orders and ensure timely execution as per agreed timelines
- Coordinate with Production and other internal teams for smooth order execution
- Monitor quality requirements and coordinate with relevant teams to address quality-related issues
- Track production progress and ensure orders are executed within defined timelines




- Coordinate shipment planning and follow up to ensure timely shipment
- Maintain regular communication with buyers regarding order status, samples, production, quality, and shipment
- Ensure buyer requirements and timelines are clearly communicated to internal teams
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve order-related issues and ensure timely closure

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree (relevant field preferred)

Experience:

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Merchandising
- Robust experience in export merchandising
- Experience in handling buyer coordination, costing, product development, and order execution
- Experience in the US market is desirable

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of export merchandising processes
- Strong buyer communication and coordination skills
- Good understanding of costing and commercial aspects of orders
