Role Description The Medical Coding Trainer is a full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore. The trainer will design and deliver training programs in medical coding and related areas for learners and professionals, using structured curricula, case studies, and coding exercises. Daily responsibilities include preparing training materials, conducting classroom and practical sessions, evaluating learner performance, and providing feedback and mentorship to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.





The role also involves staying updated with current coding guidelines and regulations, collaborating with internal teams to refine training content, and supporting talent development initiatives for healthcare and ITES clients.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Medical Coding and Coding Experience, with the ability to train learners on real-world scenarios and industry standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Health Information Management practices to support accurate documentation, compliance, and data integrity in training programs.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Medical Terminology to effectively teach coding concepts and interpret clinical documentation.
- Candidates should possess RHIT or equivalent professional certifications to validate expertise in health information and medical coding (preferred but not mandatory).
- Relevant skills and qualifications include prior experience as a medical coder or coding trainer, familiarity with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, strong communication and presentation skills, proficiency in using training and documentation tools, and a commitment to continuous learning in healthcare regulations and standards.
