MBA Intern – Healthcare Consulting We’re hiring MBA interns (Marketing or Technology Management) to explore and execute consulting opportunities with hospitals and healthcare providers. This is a fully remote, paid, task- and performance-based internship ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience in healthcare consulting, business development, and operational improvement.

About the RoleAs a Healthcare Consulting Intern, you will work directly with hospital leadership and our internal team to identify, analyze, and execute high-impact projects in areas such as revenue cycle optimization, patient acquisition, digital transformation, and service-line growth. You’ll operate like a junior consultant: scoping problems, running analyses, building recommendations, and supporting implementation—remotely.

Who Should Apply

- Current MBA students or recent graduates (0–12 months) with a specialization in Marketing or Technology/Operations Management.
- Robust interest in healthcare, consulting, and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working remotely with hospital administrators, clinicians, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to create clear, client-ready decks and reports.

- Self-starter who can own tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision.





Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be assigned discrete workstreams and client tasks. Typical responsibilities include:
- Opportunity Exploration
- Research hospital markets, service lines, and competitor benchmarks.
- Identify consulting opportunities
- Client Engagement & Requirements
- Conduct remote interviews with hospital stakeholders to clarify objectives and pain points.
- Document business requirements and translate them into project charters and work plans.
- Analysis & Recommendations
- Analyze operational, financial, and marketing data
- Build hypotheses, run analyses, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
- Deliverables
- Create client-facing presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Support implementation of pilot initiatives
- Business Development Support
- Help prepare proposals, case studies, and pitch materials for new hospital clients.

Compensation Structure (Activity + Performance Based)This is a variable-pay internship. Earnings are tied to completed tasks, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
- Base Task Stipend: Fixed amount per approved deliverable (e.g., research report, analysis deck, client interview summary).
- Performance Incentives:
- Bonus for on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Additional incentive for client-impacting outcomes (e.g., leads converted, pilots launched, measurable efficiency gains).
