Role Description The Manager–DGFT role is a full-time, in office position based in Raipur. This role is responsible for managing all activities related to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), including applying for and monitoring import/export licenses, authorizations, and incentives. The manager will oversee compliance with foreign trade policies, maintain up-to-date documentation, and coordinate with internal teams such as finance, logistics,
and legal to ensure accurate execution of export and import transactions.
The role includes preparing and filing applications and returns, tracking status of DGFT matters, resolving queries with government authorities, and maintaining records for audits and internal reporting. The Manager–DGFT will also support strategic decisions related to international trade, duty benefits, and schemes relevant to the company’s raw materials and finished products.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of DGFT regulations, Foreign Trade Policy, export–import procedures, and applicable government schemes (e.g., EPCG, Advance Authorization, RoDTEP, RoSCTL).
- Experience in documentation and compliance for export and import, including licensing, duty exemption/benefit claims, and coordination with customs, banks, and other regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for tracking applications, maintaining records, and generating compliance reports.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or commodities sector, preferably in oils, fats, or food ingredients, with exposure to international trade operations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
