Role Description The Legal Manager will oversee and manage all legal aspects of the company’s debt collection operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This full-time, on-site role based in Goregaon involves drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and agreements related to collections and client relationships.

The Legal

Manager will coordinate with external legal counsel, represent the company in legal proceedings when required, and provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring legal risks, implementing legal policies and procedures,



and supporting the resolution of disputes. The role requires collaboration with operations, finance, and client-facing teams to ensure legally sound and efficient collection practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting notices, contracts, and litigation-related documents.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, providing advice on debt recovery strategies, client agreements, and dispute resolution.
- Demonstrated expertise in Legal Compliance, ensuring adherence to collection laws, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage Legal Affairs, including coordination with external counsel and handling litigation or pre-litigation matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) required; LL.M or additional certifications in corporate or financial law are an advantage.
- Prior experience in debt collection, financial services, or corporate legal roles preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Ability to work on-site in Goregaon, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
