Responsibilities
Draft, review, and finalize EPC contracts, sub-contractor agreements, O&M; contracts, PPAs, land lease/sale deeds, and MoUs with clients and counterparties.
Review and redline legal documents received from clients, government agencies, and counterparties to flag risks, ambiguities, and non-standard clauses.
Coordinate and follow up with external lawyers and legal counsel for opinions, court cases,
arbitration proceedings, and dispute resolution.
Draft and manage legal notices, demand letters, reply notices, and dispute correspondence with counterparties and regulatory authorities.
Support land due diligence — title searches, encumbrance certificate checks, mutation status tracking,
and coordination with revenue officers.
Liaise with government departments including revenue offices, stamp duty authorities, and subregistrar offices for document execution and registration.
Maintain and organize the company’s legal document repository — contracts, title deeds, court filings, statutory approvals, and regulatory correspondence.
Replying to legal queries and maintaining communication with internal teams, external lawyers, and
- counterparties.
Skills and Qualifications
LLB mandatory; LLM or specialization in corporate / infrastructure / property law preferred
1-3 years of experience in corporate legal practice, law firm, or in-house legal role
Solid legal drafting and contract review skills across commercial, infrastructure, and property law
Knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, and relevant state revenue laws
